Lys finishes communing and opens her eyes.

Rising from the she opens the chest and places her prayer beads gently inside then removes her robe, laying it on her bed.

Taking but a moment she dresses in her fresh blouse and breeches and pulls on her shoes and then, finally, dons her belt as well.

Lys opens the door, goes out into the hall, closes and locks the door, and heads down the stairs.

Moving across the common room Lys walks to the door of the Inn and heads outside.

After taking stock of her surroundings she crosses over to the general store, opens the door, the heads inside looking around the interior with interest.

The general store is pleasantly cool inside, compared to the heat of the noonday sun. Shuttered windows let in just enough light to make it comfortable. Shelves fill the main room. Visible through a gal between to shelves is a counter. A man dressed in a blue tunic, with a full beard, leans on the counter. He appears to be writing something in a ledger, but looks up when Lys arrives. "Hello Madame, may I help you with something?" He asks kindly.

Lys looks around at the supplies and says pleasantly, "You seem well stocked for people who intend to travel. Do you also buy goods or just sell?"

"I would buy certain select items. Only valuable things, or equipment, mind you." He replies.

"Ah. So, since you buy select items, would you perhaps have any for sale at this time that I might see?" Lys asks.

"It all depends on how much coinage you have, Madame." He replies with a raised eyebrow.

"Eh. Well. Not as much as all that good merchant," Lys says sadly. "But," she continues hopefully, "perhaps you have some stick incense?"

The shopkeeper looks around the room, and then replies "I don't have any out here. Let me check the back."

He the a ducks behind a curtain situated in the wall behind the counter.

Lys waits politely for the shopkeeper to return.
