Part Four: New Beginnings

"Well, he said to tell you to meet him tonight at Valder's Hollow. That's a clearing about a mile east of town. There's a small path that leads to it from behind here. That's all I can tell you. Gerald has stayed here many times before. He's always been a bit edgy, but this time he was downright peculiar. That's all I can tell you." The innkeeper replies. "He also said to give the same message to that lady upstairs, and that Wizard in the corner. Can't say I know why. Said something about a business deal."

Lys closes the door after the departing girl. Slipping out of her clothes she eases herself into the hot water of her much anticipated bath with a sigh of happiness and begins to wash, using the bar of perfumed soap by the side of the tub.

"Very well I will wait."Akarrus says.He turns and heads back to his seat only to find Haldor sitting there."That is my seat move to another."He says in a low voice.

Lys finishes washing herself and sits back to soak and enjoy the hot water lazily watching the steam rise through the shafts of morning light streaming through the open window of her room.

Time passes and the young acolyte comes out of her reverie to find the water cooling. Rising, the air cools her skin raising goose bumps on her dripping flesh. Taking the fresh smelling towel she buries her face in it's softness for a moment before dabbing herself dry and stepping from the now tepid water.

Draping the towel over the back of her chair she moves to the bed and pulls on her robe. Picking up the silver chain on which hangs the holy symbol of Hallabey she slips it over her head.

Finally the young elf girl reaches into the chest and pulls out her prayer beads, sixteen blue crystals on a silver chain, and sits cross-legged on the bed. Closing her eyes, the beads entwined between her fingers, Lys slips into a meditative trance and communes with her Goddess.

"Well of course my shadowy friend" Haldor says moving to the chair next to it " you seem like a very interesting fellow, please have a seat".

Akarrus sits down in his chair.He turns to Haldor "You are here for the same reason as I: You are waiting for a man named Gerald."he said.

"Indeed I Am, Good Sir" says Haldor " You Would Not Happen To Know Where Or Even When We Are To Seek Him?

[Nightwulf]

"We will meet him tonight at Valder's Hollow.After Dinner I will be leaving you may follow me."Akarrus says

"Why Thank You, I Shall Definitly Do So"

"I wonder" Haldor says to akarrus "do you think that priest is here for the meeting as well? and should we tell her?"
