With a glance toward the new arrival as he sets the coins on the bar, Lys pauses for a moment until the cloaked man retrieves his tankard and moves away before nodding to Matthew, "In the evening, while sharing the warmth of a cheery hearth and listening to a minstrel's song, that is the time for ale. The time for ale, and for dance." After a moment she continues with a smile and says, "For now, however, a cool cup of water would be more welcome to me than hot tea. Though I thank you kindly for your thoughtfulness."

Then, looking down to retrieve her payment for the room Lys notices that her holy symbol is lying atop her blouse and, quickly lifting it, lets it slide back down where it belongs before slipping a gold piece from her belt and handing it, with a slight blush, to the Innkeeper.

Putting one gold piece onto the bar, Holdar turns to the woman who has just sat down next to him. "why hello, Fancy seeing another elf here of all places." He says past his pipe " I'm Haldor, the wizard. It's nice to meet you, and you are?".

The innkeeper eyebrows shoot up when he sees the cloaked figure's mask.

He turns his attention back to the counter, and hurriedly collects the coins. He smiles at Lys. "Very well, Madame." He then calls back to the kitchen "forget the tea!

He then moves over to a barrel, and fills a tankard with water. He sets it in front of Lys.

He then looks at the wizard. "So, you want a room for the night?"

The innkeeper then pulls out a key from under the counter, and hands it to Lys. The key is marked with a number "2". "Just find the door with the matching number" he says "that's your room."

"The innkeeper eyes the masked man suspiciously, but then answers "yes, rooms one, three, and five face the road. You're welcome to room one."

Taking the key from the Innkeeper's hand she says, "Please Matthew, don't call me Madame. Alright? I'm just Lys and I'd like to be your friend." She gives the barkeep a friendly smile before picking up her tankard and taking a drink. After a pause she looks over at Haldor with a slight lift of her eyebrow and says, "I am Lys. Acolyte of Hallabey." She holds Haldor's gaze for a moment then looks away, the motion fanning her long hair out.

The barkeeps eyes seem to drift away, but then he shakes his head and looks back at Lys. "Very well. Would you like something to eat?"

He then focuses on Holdar. "Well, you can have room three." He hands him a key. "I'll bring bath water up for the two of you" he gestures towards Lys and Holdar when he says this. "Your total is 15sp" he says to Holdar. "I need 3sp for the bath."
