Tuk looks up at Caesar as he tugs on the leggings "I like her" with a toothy smile but grief is still showing in his eyes.

"Where are you from Raven?"Caesar asks he looks down at Tuk and smiles

Standing back up Raven looks at Caesar and says, "I'm from Jiruthe, in Torumila. Just little while ago my term of duty in the Guards ended and I was at loose ends so I thought I might venture into the Ruined Lands to see what I could find. Bad idea." Raven shivers. "If it hadn't been for Rolf here...where'd he go?" She looks around for a moment and then shrugs. "Ah well. I shouldn't be surprised." she smiles ruefully, "His kind come and go. Rangers I mean." She nods and then inquires politely, "And yourselves? What brought you out here?"

Tuk steps out from behind Caesar to reveal smaller than normal halfling who stands about 2 1/2 ft tall and looks to be almost skin and bones. He is still wearing rag thin robe over what appears to be heavily patched leather armor. His wavy brown hair dangles over his ears enough to reach his shoulders. Tuk's hands are crudded with dried mud and dirt while his face is streak with the same. On his back is a pieced together pack that is barely holding together. Peeking out from under the robe is a very worn hilt of a sword while held in the crook of his arm is a oak staff that is about 2 feet taller than he is "I'm here to heal the land or at least find out how to heal it".

Raven looks at Tuk for a moment then replies kindly, "Don't neglect to let someone heal you too. Alright?"

"As for me I'm here to get some form of payment to build a church to Elan in Celob order to redeem my past."

Raven raises an eyebrow at Caesar's words and grins merrily, "Redeem your past? Were you naughty in your youth?" she sobers then and continues, "Your pardon. I meant no disrespect. It is a worthy venture." She smiles a gentle smile at Caesar.

As the companions talk, Tuk begins to hear the sound of footfalls coming from the northwest, farther along the path. He also hears a faint panting, which sounds canine in nature.

Caesar smiles back and says"Yes I was naughty in my youth.I was more concerned about my money than about my family."

Tuk spins about while his hand drops to the his hand crossbow that hangs under his robe and pulls it out to load it "We got dogs coming for that direction" then points towards the direction of the sounds.
