Almost at the same moment that Raven takes cover, a group of five small green-skinned humanoids (Raven recognizes them as goblins) come into view, along with a (normal-sized) wolf. The wolf has its head bent to the ground, and appears to be picking up a scent. The humanoids are talking in a foul and foreign language.

"Goblins." Raven hisses.

Tuk stares hard at the wolf, trying to see if it is with the goblins freely or forced and if it has been abused.

Raven looks closely at the goblins, trying to take in details, to see if anything is different about any of them.

The wolf's ears perk up momentarily, but then it re-focuses on the ground and continues to snuffle about the path. The goblins seem engrossed in their conversation, and one of them is making extravagant gestures with his hands. The goblins each carry a spear strapped to their backs, and they each have a shield in hand. One goblin wears leather armor. The wolf looks rather nasty, and perhaps even evil.

Tuk stays stock still but has the crossbow aimed at the goblin in leather armor.

Raven whispers, "Let's see if they move on. We'll fight if we have to."

The wolf suddenly seems to pick up a scent, and it puts its head into the air. It looks towards the foliage that the companions are hiding behind, a devilishly curious look in its eyes. Tuk can almost feel a palpable evil emanating from it. He feels in his heart that this is no creation of the goddess.

Tuk hisses as he switches targets to let the bolt fly at the wolf "Demon dog"

"You two, attack the goblins she nods at Caesar and Howell." then, not having her bow ready, Raven bursts from cover right after Tuk looses his bolt to take advantage of the surprise his attack might have had on the wolf and, yelling like a banshee, attacks the canine with all her might.
