OK.

The party moves another 30 yards in stealth mode. Nothing happens behind you. Listening rolls indicate that there is movement in the area north of the cottage but no indication anyone is following you.

The next round, you judge it's safe enough to move into full running away mode and you get 60 yards further. This round, Freya loses another hit point and is ill over the side of the coracle as it moves through the grass. She's now on 9.

Her pupils have dilated massively to the point where she looks like an anime elf. She's telling you she can't see very well.

The encounter is over. You got out of there. From here, I need to work out what happens with the rest of the poison. Is there anything else you want to do, or do you just keep moving? The poison is still in effect and she is slowly getting worse.

If it's safe, Tiana et al will do what they can to neutralize the poison's effect. That most likely means a bunch of ineffectual attempts, but they'll try.

Hmm... washing the wound, chewing on all sorts of local herbs, cold compresses, antihistamines, that sort of thing. It should be ok to chunder but Tiana thinks that there's no reason to induce it.

You don't really know whether the efforts have had any effect or not.

Over the next five minutes Freya loses another 7 hit points and is reduced to 2.

Fun fun fun.

About ten minutes after that she seems to have stopped getting worse (in game terms, no more HP loss). But she can no longer see at all and is totally incapacitated.

You have moved a fair way off in any northward direction you like. This can be into the edge of town, or into the grassland / woods.

Edge of town sounds safer than the woods. Usual stuff -- camp for the night and hope Freya gets better by morning.

OK, I've got you camping out in a spot near some other farmhouses, a long way from the Nisha cottage area.

Freya does not lose any more HP. She recovers in about 6 hours, not regaining a hp tonight. She will tomorrow night.

It's now Monday morning, sun up. No one has chased you or confronted you in the night. It's your move.

Let's get a summary of a few worrisome threads.

Freya: still blinded and incapacitated, or just weak?
Wen: still a frozen popsicle, or has he thawed out a bit?
Anna: she's arriving today, right?

The party will spend the day resting, with Tiana doing what she can for the first two (Freya and Wen). Talin will let Caradoc know what happened at the house in case he has heard of such poison before. The dwarves will pick up Anna while in town, but after Talin gets back. Hopefully nobody gets followed back to the camp, and everyone will take a roundabout way.

Freya's fine, no incapacitation at all now. She's just only got 2 hit points.
Wen is still paralysed, yeah.

A full force of you, including Caradoc and Anna, can be assembled for action by this evening. I'll give Freya a HP back for resting all day.

Or you could wait til Tuesday to act and I'll have to see what happens overnight.

Caradoc, Coll and Wen turn out not to know anything about the poison. It is known that the bandits have sometime used a poison with similar effects, though.

If Wen is paralyzed, how do I know what Wen thinks? :)

(I deleted the train-of-thought monologue for you)

I think a few days of rest to get Freya healthy again before any further attempts cracking the nisha ring. Doesn't she get > 1 hp/day for full rest?

Rangers suggest it is best to move out of town while resting up. Camping out near Hemmer seems smart. I've shifted you all out that way.

Freya gets 1hp back for a full days rest, and then one more overnight. Not 3 in total.

Did you want Anna to stay in town and do anything overnight? Coll and Caradoc are staying, on watch duty.

Otherwise, it's Tuesday morning, and Freya has 2 hp back (assuming that Tiana has coracle'd her for much of the way to the new camp).

PS - I meant Anna knows nothing about the poison, not Wen.

Freya would be at four now, right?

I'm getting a little concerned about Wen. Has Tiana seen anything like this before? Might Wen dehydrate to death with his current situation?

Either way, the party will rest up a lot, probably another week (sigh). I know that's not very exciting for everyone else, but that poison is fatal (which is the purpose) and they need some time to think about how to avoid it. Tiana will craft a coded message to Rillow asking for advice and antidote recipes, with a return mail sent care of Emlin.

Killian is thinking about kidnapping Hames or Ross out and beating information out of them, but that doesn't sit well with the rest of the party.
