Remove Fear is just a place to start. He'll get other spells. Bless is 2nd level in this system, by the way. I'll look at other Old School spell lists and get some ideas.

In terms of his conversion - that's up to you. I'll let you know that the place where you may end up (Malagosbe), there's is probably going to be a lot of dwarf stuff and that may include lost spell inscriptions and so on. But that might not be for a while. So, I thought I'd gibe him a few lesser spells that just develop naturally out of his new-found piety, and then better ones later, once he finds some dwarven artefacts.

Get to the food and arrows when you can. Right now I'm more interested in how the party are going to deal with the giant carnivorous earthworm that has slithered into the dungeon!

Kilian isn't going to have newfound piety on his own. He was at Greyforge, remember? His newfound piety needs to smack him like a locomotive, and will probably involve both dwarf stuff and a lot of falling rock.

Why do I have this thought that you put the snake there so the melee team can get HTH combat experience?!?

Bruce the doofus elected to roll his hit points and got a 1. He is now on 11.

Please add 2 more HP to Kilian. That already includes his con bonus. (He is still down 5, from his new total.)

OK, it sounds like you aren't going for the slow and steady introduction to clerical magic I was suggesting. That's cool. I'll actually give you extra xp for that when the time comes. But, you may have to pick some kind of event as a trigger, otherwise you could take along time to find the stuff I am talking about...

Or, depending on what you do, you could start to find some of it next week. Who knows?

You've seen Kilian in action, Compare that to Elizabeth Wolfe. Do you think Kilian is the type of guy who will slowly develop clerical powers because of his longstanding connection with the RockFather? He's cranky about pretty much everything, including Freya (for saving his @$$), for the RockFather (for not wiping up the goblins), at Bruce (for being civilized), at Tiana (for being a pointy-ears), at the dwarves in general (for not wiping up the goblins), at humans (for "civilizing" the dwarves), at goblins, at nisha, um... what'd I miss? And because dwarves are extremely stubborn, it's going to take a lot for Kilian to realize that it's really his problem for not doing anything about this except wallow around in bitterness.

Sigh. Dude you're nearly 4th level. Can't run way all the time.

Get me real healers (or more likely, cheap resurrections). I don't even have a wanna-be paladin!
