Apologies for all the post editing, and slight craziness of this GUMP encounter. I am trying to get my head around a few of the movement and combat rules.
I think in future, initiative is not a good mechanism for PBP. If I beat all or most of you in the first initiative roll, I will go first. If enough of you beat me, you all get to go first. That way, we can just take it in turns.

Ok. Probably doesn't help tonight as I'm playing by phone.
I recall in the basic set, party vs enemy initiative much like you're describing. It definitely speeds things up. The only downside is that a group could get wiped out and unable to do anything. But at least it is fair chances.

The other issue is that some of your posts are based on questions about the rules, so I have try guesstimate what you would have done if that was clear. Some are BFRPG rules, some are mine.
For future reference -
You can move and shoot, but not vice versa
Talin takes a full round to change weps
Kilian can shoot crossbow and then swap straight to melee, but his crossbow takes a round to reload
Tiana can change weps in 1 round, but at a small to hit penalty
You can fire at someone only 5' away, but at a pretty big penalty. (-5).
If you fire at a melee containing friends, you can either take a -4 penalty to hit, or, risk hitting your friends if you miss badly. If you don't specify, I will assume you have taken the to hit penalty rather than risk missing our friends.

BTW I am fine with all the interpretations of my plans. It keeps the game mov g, and I definitely prefer keeping a fast pace over 100% precision of my motives.

Did you mean Freya? Tiana hardly has two weapons to switch between.

Yes, I meant Freya. She has two short / light weapons.
Tiana can switch between one dagger and another dagger if she likes, too.

One thing that is working better with initiative is after every round, let me know the results of the next initiative. That way I won't wait for something else to happen after your post.

Makes sense. Especially if I am always going last.
The GUMP is a slow beast.

Oh, another thing... Fido. I figure he's a NPC, or at best, a retainer with the intelligence of a dog. He can "level up" and become more obedient, but unless you want me to play his actions now, we can leave him as he was originally intended -- flavor (and hopefully does not kill the party with badly-timed barking or slobbering).
And he looks something like this:

Fido is currently a normal dog.
With a bit more training - like - several months - he will be a riding dog with extra HP and better attack and damage. Then, you can treat him as more of an NPC.
In the meantime I will play him as flavor. He won't get you into too much trouble. He may even help.
Is he OK so far? I think he has been fun.
