Since this is happening outside I feel I can run it before Giovanni responds inside.

A man dressed as a kitchen assistant comes outside with a large platter held in both hands. Looking around at the stable area and to the wagon there... Um, miss? Lady Adept? upon seeing Ravoneth sitting in the wagons rear area he approaches. I was instructed to bring food and drink for two. Setting the platter down he pulls the cloth cover to reveal a large plate containing roasted lamb and a rice dish lightly covered in a thin yellow cheese. Also there are two tankards, one of water and the other of ale, and two stout wooden mugs. I'll leave this here for you and come back in an hour or so to collect it.

Brother James has the good grace to grimace as his stomach rumbles. Rave I could use some food.... If you still feel threatened you can feed me by your own hand.

Giovanni staggers into the inn... "So hungry... so very very hungry.." before breaking into a big grin.. The smell of lamb fills his nose and his belly growls its ascent..

The female cleric laughs a bit at the sound of a hungry stomach. She hands Giovanni a drink and links her arm in his to lead him to a table already laden with a platter of lamb and greens. Giovanni If I didn't know better I'd think you'd forgotten me already. She reaches for a fork and dives into the platter of food while watching the man across from her.

An attendant comes to the table of the CoS with an overly full platter of roasted lamb, lightly steamed greens and a rice dish dusted with a light cheese (easily enough for 6+ people). He sets down a stemless glass for each member and then a tankard of a light pale wine, one more of a deep dark ale, the next is of a clear-smokey liquid of strong dwarven spirits and the lase of a deep red wine. The food will cost you a silver piece, all you can eat to include breakfast tomorrow morning. Drinks are two copper per tankard, it's good stuff. Pay for food and drink and you can stay the night in a room for free. He holds his hand out for the one silver and eight copper.

The CoS enjoys a good solid meal of meat and greens and drinks. As they finish the meal a server comes to collect the platter and utensils. You're being watched. He says in a whisper...The three men at the end of the bar, armored with weapons close at hand. He leans over the table to grab the last plate and leans in close to Hermia Your holy man has already been picked out as a target. Standing up he asks in a normal voice. Will you have dessert? The cook has an excellent raspberry tart made just this morning. Shall I serve it with a cup of dark coffee?

A quick look around the bar by the companions shows nothing amiss. Mae catches a look between three men at the end of the bar as they size up the CoS. A look towards Giovanni and a smile from one of them may indicate that the CoS cleric has been singled out. The men appear to be normal fighting men. Mail and plate armor adorn them. Longswords are at each mans side with round shields laying at their feet. As she watches Mae notices that although they appear to drink often and deeply they are in fact merely sipping the large tankards they hold.

A few minutes into the meal the lady cleric gets up from the table. I'll get us a tankard of something fun.
With a smile and a giggle she heads to the bar for the drink. On the way back she picks up her shield and mace and sets them close at hand as she places the tankard upon the table. Drink and eat my dear. You'll need your strength this evening... I plan many things for us. Her dancing eyes and suggestive nature are easily understood.
