Ravoneth will hogtie up James' entire body -- hands to ankles and loops around his neck as well. Lots of knots everywhere. Once he's appropriately tied up, she'll haul his body back to Giovanni's shop.

If anyone knows where she can get leg irons and manacles for free or in exchange for labor, let me know.

Why not back to the shop? We can then lock up James until I decide what to do with him.

Oypeen is utterly amazed at the scene in the alley. He steps back as the others come out carrying mae and brother James. He looks at the two sprawled bodies and indicates the others should hurry before anyone else should show up.

"Oypeen, can you acquire manacles and leg irons? He won't run again."

Upon hearing what has just transpired as the party returns to the store, Rykken confers with Albert. "It appears that we may have need of Jake's services sooner than even I expected. I fear we may need to increase our security as we don't know how deep this goes. Could you recruit Jake and a handful of trust-worthy, stalwart young men to provide additional protection for the store and it's ... ahem ... contents?

Also, can you arrange to have one of our warehouses 'modified' to house our 'guest' and allow for discussions that can't be heard, if you know what I mean? I would prefer to keep our extra-curricular activities away from the store so as not to draw unwanted attention to it and keep the regular customers out of harm's way."

The company returns to Rykkens shop with two unconscious members. Brother James is trussed up like a man awaiting trial, secured with 50 feet of thin but strong rope. Maephina comes in carried on the shoulders of Hermia. Alfred escorts the two halflings up to his loft apartment and has Hermia lay her friend into a warm and comfortable bed. His wife brings food for Hermia and a cool compress for Maes face and head to help her sleep and heal.

A few minutes after they are all in the shop Brother James wakes up. Bound as he is he can do nothing other than sit..... and be angry.

Ravoneth will sit down opposite of him and wait for him to speak first. His lack of control about his emotions makes her think that he will. If he twitches too much though, she'll wallop him upside the head and knock him unconscious.

She'll feel more confident when the leg irons and manacles arrive.

Hermia passes Ravoneth a note.

DO NOT OPEN THIS IN THE SIGHT OF JAMES.

I think it's best that James is delivered into the custody of your order immediately, as far away from Undermountain as possible. I think the you know what must be kept as far away from Undermountain as possible, as well. If Mae is able to, I suggest we procure a wagon and set out first thing in the morning.
