Rykken will confer with Oypeen and after verifying that Oypeen has activated his 'spy network', he will go back in to the store and discuss with Albert the changes to the work week and check to see if there are any other possible problems or issues that may be popping up.

Mae shadows Brother James as he follows the two workers. James takes a turn into an alley and Mae follows as well. Entering the alley Mae sees nothing... no tracks, nothing. Taking a few steps into the alley she hears a slight noise to her left and looks in time to catch a leg kick to the face. Mae is stunned and laying on her side. Through the haze she sees the adept stride from her and engage two other men. A fast attack puts both of them on the ground. Before she passes out Mae sees Brother James pull a dagger and kill both men.

Can Hermia overhear the scuffle? If so, she'll have decided the time for stealth is over and charge in to Mae's (presumed) rescue.

And what of Ravoneth? Does she see what has transpired?

And will Giovanni see Hermia run into the alley?

Oypeen strolls along leisurely. looking in the shop windows and generally acting as if hasn't a care in the world while he follows along well behind the others waiting to see if the urchins report back.

Hermia watches Mae make a turn into an alley way after Brother James. She pauses a second to ensure that she's not seen following too closely when she hears a "twack!". Fearing for her companions safety she charges ahead, right behind her is Ravoneth dodging and cutting around the throng of folks in the street. Charging in behind both of them is the stalwart cleric Giovanni using muscle instead of stealth to clear a path.

As the three round the corner the sight before them is dismal. Young Mae is laid out on the filthy cobblestones with blood running from her nose and mouth. Beyond her are two men laying in similar fashion perhaps 40 feet away, over them stands a man cleaning a dagger on one of the dead mans cloaks. Looking up at them the dagger wielder, Brother James, smiles a sad smile and turns to go.... You've no idea what you've done for us... I guess we owe you thanks.

If you plan to attack let me know and we'll roll some dice for initiative. If you plan to attempt dialogue..... well here is your chance. I'll answer each in turn before answering another.

Hermia stands over Mae, glancing down to make sure she's alright, but never quite letting her attention leave James.

Giovanni closes his eyes and pictures the anger and righteousness of his God wrapping around Brother James like a vice.. (I'm casting Hold Person)

Oypen looks at his reflection in a shop window and straightens his robes and styles his hair just a bit while he also watches the alleys reflection. He grows wary when the others all start to run into the alley. He will move across the street faster than normal but not in a way that attracts attention. When he reaches the alley mouth he will stop there so that he can see in as well as see up and down the street.
