"Herbs? Hm. Hm! That could be... it's worth a try!" Hermia says.
Mae supportively claps James on the arm, not quite tall enough to reach his shoulder. "When Ravoneth's safe we'll take you to see some great places Hermia an' me found when we went camping."
Hermia outlines her suspicions based on James's description: Ravoneth may be beneath the home of the drow they battled before. If so, the logical way to proceed is to head to the surface and hurry to her rescue there.

Do you all plan to use Opyeens ring and *bamf* to the entry way or are you planning on walking the distance?

The companions with Brother James in tow clasp hand and *bamph* are instantly back at the bottom of the entry well. While the others are well used to this form of travel Brother James turns and quietly wretches in the sand.
After some noise is made to alert the folks above the platform drops and the company rides up to the relative safety of the surface.
A few short minutes to navigate the inn, a few minutes heading down the street in a hurry and they are passing Rykkens shop and going towards the Herbalists Quarter where they believe Ravoneth will be attempting to get herself out of the beholders treasure room. Looking up Opyeen spots a familiar face in unfamiliar clothing heading down the street towards them. It is Ravoneth in elven attire with a decidedly darker shade to it headed down the street towards Rykkens shop. Brother James stops in his tracks his face a mix of shame, pride and elation.

The two halflings tacklehug their ascetic pal. "Ravoneth!" "You're alive!" "And we found James!"

Oypeen is happy to see Ravoneth alive but cringes at the sappy reception. And in public. Humans and halflings - so emotional. He nods a welcome to Ravoneth and then watches the crowds for overly interested watchers and/or for anyone following Ravoneth.

You notice two men standing under the eaves of a common equipment shop some three doors down and across the street. One of them glances from his study of Brother James and as he sees you watching him he nudges his companion and they enter the shop. They are wearing plain workers garb with sawdust about them in various places. Both men are common looking enough to have easily blended into any crowd. Only their intent study of the Companions gave them away.

Oypeen gets the attention of the others, "Some folks over there paying us too much attention. They just went into that shop. Lets mosey on over there and check them out."

Ravoneth can't help but smile under the fierce attack by the halflings. "
Yes, I'm safe. Quite luckily, in fact. Let's find a quiet area and I'll share what I've learned. You would enjoy the story, short as it is."
Turning to James, she says without any reproach, "
Brother James, I'm glad you are well. Grandmaster Syrithidanthanis became concerned when you went missing and sent me to rescue you." Turning to the halflings (and others if they are in the same direction), she says,
"Thank you for bringing him back safely. The Queynar Pilgrimage owes you a debt we cannot pay right now. I fear I left the Long Reach (that longbow) below in my escape, as well as your red robes, Brother James." She turns back to James for that last part.
--- (Oypeen's part) ---
"
Very well. Four from the front, three at the back of the shop?"
We are close to Rykken's shop. If James isn't up for combat, can he hang out there? However, I'd really like to see the dual monks in combat.

I'd like to wait to hear what Giovanni and Rykken have to say about following the two men into the equipment shop. I fear I'm leaving them behind again even with the adjusted pace.
