The one who spoke up first (same one who waved at you) is the largest and seems to be the smartest of the group. The others tend to look back at him and then to the CoS as if to ensure that they are still ok to continue scavenging while their "leader" keeps an eye on things.

As soon as the words "a few silvers" leaves your mouth you are surrounded by kobolds all chattering and holding out their hands.

Every one of them starts chattering and pointing in different directions as if they all know exactly where he was last seen.

Chattering like madmen the kobolds give a very enthusiastic and useless set of directions as to the last know whereabouts of Brother James. Finally seeing that this is going nowhere, and his chance of silver is going as well, the larger kobold barks some phrases and orders and the rest go silent.

Looking at Ravoneth he speaks up. You give Garbles he points to himself silvers in many and a glow knife and we's dealing. One of the others, a small one with pockets sewn all over his patched clothing, speaks to Garbles in a hissing language. Right! And Pike wantses hunnert feets of rope. Strong rope! Then we dealses.

Looking at the smaller Pike the leader does his best to look important. Pike knows where dirty fighting man sleeps. He show, you pay and go.
