Fair enough. If nobody has a better idea what to do with the treasure that Ravoneth brought up, she'll donate it all save a few gold coins to the local orphanage.

(wait, what did ravoneth bring up? We have Rykken's shop to sell all this misc. stuff that we don't want to keep individually. And we already kind of donate to charity by giving those down and out jobs in the shop and helping them keep their streets safe. :) )

No, I didn't get enough from the OOC thread to understand how loot is handed out here, so I'm going to play it as Ravoneth as clueless about how loot is handed out in CoS. :) Besides, most of her earnings will go to the nearest temple/charity/whatever since I don't think it'd be appropriate for her order to have a monastery nearby.

(Unless its a big score, Oypeen isn't too bothered about where the loot ends up. As long as he has room and board and can do simple resupplies of his adventuring gear and get spells when needed, he pays little attention to the minor gems and coins we collect. He just assumes one of you earthy types are handling the proper sale and banking (actually just using Rykkens store to hold our money and sell our goods). Now, the proceeds from the ingots he cares about quite a bit.

Magic items are something else. My personal opinion is that the person who killed the bearer of the item or too the risk to get it gets first dibs on it. After that its whoever can use it most.)

Rykken and Opyeen ensconce themselves in the rooms set aside for the CoS and break out learning. It takes a full day for Opyeen to learn Fireball from Rykken. As is usual after the teaching session is done both mages are exhausted. Sleep comes easy after a good meal and a glass of wine or two. Upon waking they find that night has passed and it is late morning.

(DMs liberty here)
Giovanni heads back to the temple where Balmorhea and his acolytes are. Arriving at the structure Balmorhea quickly asks the young cleric for help tending the wounded. There has been another attack during the day from Talpyn the Unliving and several minor wounds have been inflicted. Giovanni takes charge of the healing and cleansing of wounds and soon finds that he's out of spells and exhausted. It is now late in the evening and the head priest brings him to his own meager chamber for a hot meal and cool water to refresh and revitalize Giovanni. Thank you for your help brother the massive black man begins Without your aid we'd be in dire straights here just to take care of the day to day operations of the Temple. Reaching into an inner pocket of his robes he produces a small bone fragment. This is I believe part of one of Talpyns fingers. Perhaps one of your mages can use it to create a specific Hold or something that will stall the damned dwarf for a time.I've tried using it to develop a Turn Undead that will destroy him but so far haven't had the time to devote to it. Take it with our blessings. Oh, something else I have that might help. Calling to the anteroom another priest arrives bearing a basket. Pulling items from it the head priest hands them to Giovanni. Here my friend. Four phials of holy water that may help you. Blessed as much as I can bless them they should do considerable damage to any undead you encounter.
