(It does. There is a gap of about a foot all the way around it. If I recall correctly the well opening is something like 40 feet across. It is actually the base of the original wizards tower built by Halaster the Mad Mage.)

(Ok. I was regretting not pushing him down the well as LL suggested. Looks like I couldn't have done that anyway. At least he is entangled once more and can't attack anyone. )

(OOC: Can I reach Talpyn without getting entangled myself?)

I'm thinking of moving in and trying to slit his throat with my dagger. I realize I'll turn visible as soon as I attack but I'm hoping I can get close without Talpyn realizing it which should give me some sort of attack bonus. If I have a chance of getting entangled myself, I'll wait until he's free of the web again to attack.

(The description for Web states. "Attacking a creature in a Web won't cause the attacker to become entangled, but moving through the affected area will." You'll have to move into the affected area (i.e. the Web) to reach his throat. You will become entangled.)

Ok, Rykken will move around behind Talpyn and wait for an opportunity to attack (either when the web dissipates or Talpyn manages to get free).

With the dwarf down and prone both Ravoneth and Giovanni move in to attack. The adept wades in and swings. *swing-Crack!!* (Nat 20 and the ONLY way you could stun him) Her fist connects with the dwarf. There is a sudden twitch from the evil cleric and his body goes ridged as he is stunned into oblivious unconsciousness.

(Giovanni do you still wish to attack the now stunned dwarf?)

"Wow, good punch, Ravoneth!"

"Get his mace, quick, before he wakes up!"

[Do we want to interrogate him/turn him into the authorities? It seems like this is a bit of a public venue for killing him, even if he did kill someone and assault several of us.]

We should definitely disarm him, then along with Durnan, jointly drag him off into a private room (not our quarters) then free him of his armor and all other goods, interrogate him. Then we let durnan handle him anyway he wants. I'd have preferred to have killed him in the fight, because killing in cold blood isn't cool when there are so many witnesses around to say he was alive when we drug him off.

[Of course, those witnesses are mostly adventurers or their associates. People, in short, who are accustomed to thinking like PCs and might thus understand if we were to ensure he was neutralized...]

Seeing Ravoneth KO Talpyn, Rykken dispels his Invisibility spell and looks around. "I'm not sure that we want to touch his mace ourselves and it is currently pinned under him anyways. I say we drag him off the platform and make sure he's tied up and gagged before he comes to again and then we can worry about that mace. Durnan, would you mind giving us a hand here?"

Rykken will also scan the crowd to see if there are any other suspicious looking individuals or anyone who looks inclined to help Talpyn.
