Giovanni lets go of Hermia and steps in front of her.. Putting himself between the dark cleric and his injured partner. He whispers a small prayer before shouldering his shield and prepping himself for the combat that is coming.

Hermia cheers on her friends, then winces and tries to soothe the sharp pain in her fingers by blowing on them.

Mae thrusts her sword again and again at Talpyn's legs, trying to keep his attention too divided to fight effectively.

Initiative time!
Mae-9
Hermia-7
Ravoneth-7
Opyeen-4
Giovanni-4
Rykken-2
Talpyn-1
Kallas- (out of the fight)

Switching her sword in to her other hand Mae swings at Talpyn again hoping to find a crease or seam in his armor. *swing-SLASH!* Her strike finds a narrow gap just below the dwarfs knee where the boot top begins. The halflings attack has met with success as blood runs down the back of the armored clerics calf and over his boot.

(OK folks you've all got the jump on Talpyn this round. Let me know what you have planned.)

Giovanni-40/40 Hp AC 22
Ravoneth-35/35 Hp AC 18

Is there any possibility of casting web to wrap him up without hitting half the tavern as well? If so, thats what Oypeen will do. Not sure it will slow him down much but at the least it will take away his attack this round.

If I can't do that, then Oypeen will cast the zero level spell Flare into his eyes.

Hermia grips her sword in her good hand, edging around the periphery of the fight. She's grateful to Giovanni for pulling her to safety, but anxious to get patched up and help protect her friends.

Mae swipes up at Talpyn's wrist, this time, hoping to disarm him of his enchanted mace, or failing that, mess up his hand too.

My plan is to put a large dent in his head with my mace while praying he doesn't make contact with that scary enchanted weapon of his...

(Opyeen you can cast just enough to entangle him but it will only slow him down for 1 round due to the limited size. You could always hose the entire tavern..... :D )

Mae has acted.
Hermia are you planning on attacking or looking to get patched up first?
Once Hermia and Ravoneth have acted then Opyeen and Giovanni will act at the same time.
Then Rykken to do what he does with Talpyn to finish the round.

While Rykken leads Kallas out of harm's way, he grills him for information. "Do you know of any way to stop him? Do you know how long your blindness will last? Does Talpyn have any vulnerabilities?"
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

What!? By the Beard of the Old Father! Stop him? Yes you can stop him just get all the blood out of him and he'll die like the rest of us! Where in the hell is my axe? Blindness? This will last for a minute or so, the bastard has hit me with it before. Kallas smiles a tad cruelly and continues I'll show you the scars later if we live through this one but it'll cost you an ale!
