I laughed way harder after reading that than I should have!
I don't know if you read any of the other PBP here but in the Space Force game I was getting tired of all the uncertainty about what to do and had my character just randomly push a button on an alien control panel locate at a suspecte ancient alien underground airfield. We are moving along quite quickly now lol)

probably should have started it the page before when I actually first pushed the button lol

I am rereading it again and am laughing my ass off at the responses, especially Samantha's. I am hoping that is mint's character's response and not her own.

At any rate, Oypeen begins searching around the blockage for signs of magic, a way through or a secret door .

Mae joins in the search, hoping to find the mechanism that brought the wall down and if there's any way to reverse it. Hermia guards the rear. When she spots the scorpions, she considers rolling them some rations as a peace offering, but comes to the conclusion that, since she has no idea what scorpions even like to eat, it would probably be pointless.

There is no aparrent mechanical or magical way to raise the wall.

Giovanni sighs and once again stands guard against the scorpions while the others look for another way out...

How thick does the wall seem to be? Like, could we come back here later with a portable battering ram or some sledgehammers and clear the path again?
