Ravoneth offers to carry Mae on her shoulders. Hermia too if she really wants to avoid the dampness. But Mar seems young enough where the idea is welcome.

Mae and Hermia both chill on the platform, wringing the cold water out of their pants legs.

"Sure, Ravoneth, that sounds fine, once we get moving again." Mae says. Hermia considers it too-- it would certainly make it easier to map until we get back to dry ground-- but says nothing yet.

((Sorry guys.. reason for missing a few days posted in the OOC page))

Oypeen I like to keep the healing spells handy more for triage in a battle situation where it could be a matter of life or death. I wonder if we can purchase wands instead of potions? As a cleric I don't need alot of money so I wouldn't mind using my funds to pick one up.. Maybe we can see if my monastery can make them.. for a fee of course..

The companions do the best they can to catch some sleep in the watery room. Fortunately the platform they are on is high and dry so they can at least get out of the water. Several hour pass and after a few changes of the watch they are rested and ready to travel again. Rykken had time to study his traveling spell book and get the spells he lost committed to memory once again.

(So CoS where do you plan to venture next?)

Opyeen is correct in that I goofed and handed the party a large parcel of healing potions for coppers on the gold. Call it me not wanting you all to enter Undermountain without any healing aid since ya'll didn't have a cleric at the time. The one that did arrive was less than suited for the task.

The price now is a tad higher. The most common ones only heal 1d6+1 and are going to be rather inexpensive, something like 50gp each. What I'll probably have to do is develop a standard price list (and put it in the topic for Rykkens shop) that lists each healing potion (d6/d8), a starting price (50gp/75gp) and then a measure of cost increase for each subsequent d6/d8 added. Give me a day or so to get something created.

Oypeen wakes and studies his spell book to prepare for the day. Once done, he cleans and sharpens his weapons and makes sure all is shipshape.

Hermia awakens to find Mae cuddled up to her and drooling on her shoulder, and contemplates whether to let her finish her nap or wake her up and insist she wipe up after herself. After a few minutes she decides against waking her and shifts to dab it up herself, but the motion awakens Mae anyway.

"I think I might have been dreaming about the layout of this place..." Mae mumbles between yawns and stretches.

"It's definitely something to dream about. I could spend days down here mapping if it weren't for the monsters. Your dream happen to tell you where we might find a safe way out of here?"

(New post here folks, I inserted the incorrect scene.)

Mae takes the ring of Water Walking and goes silently down the corridor to the south. Several twists and turns later she comes across a lever set in the wall (6c) and after checking it for traps decides that it is safe to operate. Pulling the lever slowly down opens a drain in the floor of the gar room. Soon the water has all drained out revealing the corpses of the most recent meals of the giant gar. If searched nothing of value remains.

The CoS is free to travel the southern corridor and link up with our erstwhile thief. The companions, now all together again, come to a T junction farther down the corridor branching to the west and east.

(Which way folks?)

Rykken cautiously looks both ways down the corridor and then murmurs, "Well, I think we should at least check what's around the corner to the west before we venture further."

"Either way is fine with me. So if you want West then lets look west."
