Your brother went below a couple of times with the Band of the Black Banner. They made several runs down below, made some money, found some treasure etc but it never seemed to be enough. They would spend a few days getting healed up and then go down again. They made sure each time that James was with them. At some point I asked him why he stayed with them and as an explanation he said that the refuge was in dire straights for money and this was the only way to earn enough quickly. As far as finding a group there is one currently upstairs that has made several successful runs so far and I might go so far as to say they are a lot better sort that most I've seen come through here. They have suffered some losses though, no one who adventures here comes out without a scar or two...... tis the way of Undermountain. At this he gestures to the huge open hole in the center of the tavern over which a platform is hanging. (To get a better understanding of it read the descriptive passage in Undermountain, The Beginning. It is the first post by me and describes the above ground tavern.)
