Character Crypt

Post by Hywaywolf »

Here lies the dead and departed
Lives cut short before truly started
Slow of foot or just bad luck
Caught looking when time to duck

Please don't cry for our fateful friend
For we all shall die in the End
And rest assured when his tale concluded
The rest of us his body we looted.

Backstory:
Sturm was the youngest of 8 kids. His parents were drifters and called no place home, wandering where the road would take them. As a child he fell into the same line of work as his siblings, begging for money anywhere he could find it. Until one day, he met a dwarf merchant by the name of Grimm Stoneshield. Grimm needed an apprentice and paid Sturm's parents 5 gold for his internship. His parents took the money and never looked back, in fact they left town the next day leaving Sturm behind. Grimm raised Sturm as his own and taught him all he could about the business of buying and selling. Sturm loved Grimm as well and eventually took his last name as his own, but the thought of living his life as a merchant never appealed to him. So he joined a mercenary group and learned how to fight the hard way, battling against whoever he was told to kill.

Backstory:
Lianna Daggerwall is a bit of a mystery. Claiming to have been born the eldest daughter of a humble fisherman and his wife, Lianna is very vague when describing the port city she was raised in and why exactly she left. Though her story is solidly consistent, those who have known her for a number of years have picked up on discrepancies in its details from time to time. She was known as a rogue for hire for a number of years before joining the Carnage of Steel. She has surprisingly stuck around with the CoS longer than any other group she has worked with and now considers herself a permanent fixture. Whatever the true story of her past may be Lianna keeps it to herself, while always keeping an eye on the shadows.
