My assumption is that Rykken will return to the tavern and collect a few or all of his companions for a morning visit to Jysteens place with Prydwyn. If this is correct let me know and I'll script it here. If any of you don't wish to go then I'll script something else for you.

Hermia relishes the opportunity to do something new, making a mental note to offer Mae a job with/for them when she gets back.

Rykken returns for the evening meal looking a tad troubled. He quickly outlines what had hapened that day and lets the others know that he's positive that Jysteen cast something on him although it's strange that she didn't take anything. He also mentions that Prydwyn advised against approaching the drow at night and asks if any of the party would like to come with him in the morning to try and find out what the heck actually happened. Quistine, Hermia and Opyeen readily agree to go. Giovanni begs out due to the need for some much needed rest, his first adventure has left him worn out.
The following morning the four members of CoS set out to meet Prydwyn at his residence and after introductions are made they make their way through the city to Herbalists Street. The smells of fresh and freshly picked herbs quickly let the companions know why the street is thus named. Sage and Lilac compete with Coriander and Thyme and completely mask the smells of the rest of the city.
Coming up to Jysteens house Prydywn turns and asks. How do you wish to proceed? I'm too old for kicking in doors and such.

Oypeen looks at Rykeen, "This is your hoedown. I'm just here to look good in boots. I'll stand by and follow your cue."

Rykken ponders his options for several minutes. "We don't want to put her on the defensive right away so Prydwyn and I will go in and talk to her. If we don't return in 10 minutes though...come in with blades 'a ready."
He takes a deep breath and nods to Prydwyn, "Ready?" Rykken will enter the shop and look around to see if Jysteen is there. If she is he will begin, "Jysteen, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions about my...uh...experience...yesterday. I have no memory of what happened after I started talking to you yesterday until I woke up several hours later at the inn. Durnan tells me that I looked like death itself when I returned to the inn. This is all a little disconcerting and was wondering if you could shed some light on what happened. Did it have something to do with that statuette? Should I be worried about carrying it around?"
OOC: Rykken did not bring the statuette with him this morning. He has it safely tucked away back at the inn.

Hermia positions herself to listen through the doorframe, ready to burst in if it becomes necessary.

oypeen listens intently from just outside the door. he has readied magic missile, not because he thinks it will do much good, but that it may disrupt whatever magic this witch may want to try to cast on Rykken.
