Rykken will cast Mage Hand and use it to clear the cobwebs from the walls and ceiling, making it easier to check for traps or other anomolies.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Oypeen will go over to Hermia and ask her if she would like him to use his cantrip clean, on the statue to see what all there is to see without actually laying her hands on it.

With an opportunity to use some pent up spell energy the two MUs get to work. Rykken casts his Mage Hand and in short order the extension of his will is cleaning the room of cob webs. Soon the entire room is clean and easily visible other than a light cloud of dust slowly settling to the floor.

Opyeen uses a cantrip and with the casting of Clean the statue that Hermia found is quickly and safely cleaned of any dust and debris. It is revealed as a rounded lump of stone, perhaps representing a planet or globe, on which three human male warriors all stand facing outwards and holding short swords at the ready. The warriors all have wary faces and upright spears in their other hands. The warriors are naked and barefoot, their features are of no recognizable people. religion or origin. The workmanship is extremely fine and detailed. The stone itself is of a black type and very very hard although Hermia quickly guesses that it will easily shatter if dropped or struck.

Giovanni walks up behind Hermia and Opyeen just at the statue is revealed and although he has extensive knowledge on most religions and peoples he is unable to identify the figures. He does however notice a faint magical aura due to his Detect Magic that is still functioning. The aura is a deep purple bordering on black.

In the far corner Quistine is still studying the leather sack with the skeletal hand on it and has so far found no traps upon either.

Quistine will use her sword to gently push the skeletal hand aside and then try and remove the sack as gingerly as possible. Wouldn't want it to rip open and spill everywhere.

If Quistine is able to get the sack out safely, she will then take a moment to inspect the ceiling as best as she can from her rather close position to the ground.

Using her short sword Quistine is able to easily slide the skeletal hand over to one side of the leather sack and out of the way. With a cautious glance or two at the ceiling to make sure nothing nasty is going to drop from above she slowly starts pulling at the sack. The leather, although it appears to be in fine shape, quickly disintegrates under the pressure. With a loud jingle dozens of large coins spill into the stone lined hole. Taking one and looking at it closely Quistine sees that it's a rather thick coin make of platinum. The coins all appear to have some sort of bluish shine on them. On one side is stamped a hammer, on the other an anvil probably to represent dwarven traders along the Sword Coast.

(Edited to reflect that the coins are platinum, not electrum.)

Oypeen had glanced back toward the entrance to see what that rat was up to when suddenly his eyes light up and his ears become even more pointed at the tinkling sound of cascading coins. If the rat isn't doing anything odd he steps over to see what Quistine is up to.

The rat is gone.

Walking up behind Quistine and looking over her shoulder Opyeen is pleased to see close to a hundred gleaming coins laying in the bottom of the compartment. The platinum is thick and heavy with a blue iridescent glimmer.

"Please do."

Hermia then calls the others over to inspect the statue.

Quistine lets out an audible sigh as the bag falls to pieces. "Just my luck," she grumbles, as she begins to carefully pick the individual coins out of the hole and stacking them neatly next to her. All the while keeping a close eye on Oypeen.
