(Can I assume Quistine is going to inspect the secret door?)

((Just assume I do so first without touching it, then doing a full inspection))

After visually inspecting the door and finding nothing amiss Quistine then does some hands on work. A few seconds later *snic*, and the door swings open. Laying in the floor just inside the door is a small brass key. Deeper in the room is a large figure in full plate armor. The figure silently and without drawing a weapon strides up to Quistine. Stopping just short of the gnome the figure raises its right hand offering a ring laying on the palm.

Hermia flinches.

Giovanni peers over the gnome and sees the silent knight open up his hand and offer the thief a ring?

This shoulda be interesting...

Quistine tenses then reaches for the ring before stopping "This doesn't seem like a good idea."

I know that Dwarf did plan to tell sturm to not take alcohol from a slumbering brother. This is kind of the same thing. Glad its not asking me.

The armored figure waits patiently. In looking up at the visor the folks in the front are able to see that there isn't anything in there. The armor is empty.

Rykken whispers, "Grab the key first. See what he does."

Quistine quickly grabs the key then jumps back a few feet.
