((BTW, I am assuming everyone refilled thier backpacks with all of their normal adventuring gear. Oypeen added an addition quiver of arrows to his gear))

Opyeen slowly lowers a lantern on one rope while Lianna secures two more for climbing. About halfway down the sixty foot hole Opyeen notices that there are three rungs in the wall that look new. When the lantern gets to the bottom it illuminates what appears to be a pile of plate armor. A corridor heading north is also revealed.

Any particular order of folks headed down, if you're going down that is.

I can take point...Then we can look into sending the rogue out from there..

As soon as the lines are secure Sturm bravely goes first into the hole. Going hand over hand with his feet on the walls for support the going is slow. About halfway down he notices that there are three rungs that look almost new, the stone surrounding the rungs and farther out is also newer than the other stone in the tunnel. As Sturm looks closer he notices a little movement in the stone. Without warning the stone wall peals off and envelopes Sturm in a sticky embrace. Although already burdened a bit by heavy armor and weapons Sturm manages to keep hold of the rope and avoid a painful fall to the stone below.

Hermia drops her pack, grabs the rope and starts lifting Sturm up as fast as her little arms will allow.

Lianna drops her bag and grabs the rope behind hermia and begins pulling.

"And I thought I'd seen everything when the floor tried to eat us that one time! Now the walls are too! Whats next, the ceiling?!"

Oypeen will let the others pull him up and be ready to strike out with his mace if he finds anything to attack.
