((15 seconds or 15 minutes? If its seconds then Oypeen will find a bench and sit down to wait. If sturm can't survive 15 seconds without fresh air we don't need his dwarf butt down there. :) If its 15 minutes, he'll consider urinating on him since all of our bodily fluids should be 90 proof by now.))

Oypeen retrieves his wineskin and begins squirting the contents on the mimic.

Lianna slips her bow over her shoulder and takes a seat. She watches as Oypeen empties his wineskin on the mimic. "Well this is certainly and auspicious start. At this rate one of us will be eaten by a grue before we even open the first door!"

((15 minutes))

Opyeen valiantly sacrifices his wine to save the suffocating dwarf. As the alcohol in the liquid runs in through the cuts and holes in the Mimic corpse Sturm us able to crawl out sputtering and smelling of the grape.

With the lantern still at the bottom and the two guide ropes untangled the companions are free to try again.

OK OK OK.. give a beaten dwarf a chance to catch his breath!

Sturm reaches into his pack and grabs a flask(potion of healing) and chugs it. The others can see a bit more color in his skin..

((Roll me some healing oh DM of great magnificence!. I already subtracted the healing potion from my inventory when I was updating my XP)

With typical dwarven tenacity Sturm downs a healing potion and heads back down. This time he reaches the bottom without incident. Laying on the floor near the last rung is a skeletal corpse in full plate armor. The skeleton has no sword but still bears a battered, twisted shield on one shattered arm. Through the pitted rust can be seen the crescent moon and stars. The lantern on the floor reveals a small ramp leading down. The room is 20' wide and 60' long with a floor sloping gently towards the drainage ditches on both sides. At the far end of the room is a dark, square grating on the floor and above it in the ceiling, a hatch or trap door.

"Well, I guess that's our ghost knight... let's try and get him back to the temple for a proper burial, that might do the trick."

I am all for hauling him out of here. Oypeen looks through his gear for anything he can turn into a body bag. He wants to keep the body in as much as one piece as possible and not have it just fall into a big pile of bones in a bag. Possibly using a blanket and some rope to loop around the body in the blanket to keep it in body shape.

Sturm yells up.. "Hey I think I found our knight down here! There is also a passsageway sloping down! We can either haul this guy up or continue to check out where this thing goes!"

((None of you guys actually said you were coming down yet so I am assuming you are standing at the top looking down! Since you had no idea I found the knight I figured me yelling up at you eliminates any metagaming :D ))

Indeed! The DM now needs to know who is where. I'll try to add you all to the nap when I get home.
