Rykken will scrounge a torch, a piece of parchment, a scrap of cloth ripped from the bottom of his robe, or anything else he can find to use to light the oil and will wait until the first zombie has advanced far enough that it is in the middle of the pool of oil before he lights it. (hopefully the others are clustered around and they all go up in flames)

((oypeen would prefer that you wait for the second one to enter the oil before lighting rather than trapping two of them on my and lianna's side of the fire.))
Oypeen waits for the zombie to approach swinging Deatheater in an arc to build up momentum, then steps in with an overhead smash to the creatures skull.

Yeah, that's my intention. By the time the first one is in the center of the pool of oil the other one should be within the 'sphere of burning' as well.

((good. I hope you wait for that 2nd one even if it means the first one clears the oil completely before you light it. Otherwise, the 2nd one might retreat back out of the fire then I have 2 to fight for 10 rounds before the fire burns out. I'd probably end up chugging a heal pot every other round

))

Hermia draws her sword and moves in to box the zombies in. She attacks if she can get into range in time to.

With the hallway now crowded with undead and the group separated Hermia draws her sword and moves to Sturms side. *whoosh-whif* Her quick swing just misses the zombie in front of her. Strum then takes his turn at dealing damage *swoosh-whif*. He also misses the shambling mass of nasty.
On the other side of the combat Opyeen steadies himself and swings a crushing blow at his combatant. *Whoosh-whiff* it seems that lady luck has turned a blind eye to our party this day.
The zombies in turn get a chance at some retribution. The one facing Hermia swings a mangled stump in her direction *whif* and promptly falls over as its rotted legs give way. (Hehe, that was a nat 1) His brother in death facing Sturm then tries his own attack *swing-splat*. The spongy mass of flesh makes contact with an armored shoulder but does no damage. Undead number 3 faces off with Opyeen *swing-stumble" and also falls to the ground. (Nat 1.... bad day for dice)
Initiative
Sturm-5
Opyeen-3
Hermia-3
Rykken-3
Lianna- (last round of uncon)
Zombies last again.

Sturm mumbles something about the long term effects of Dwarven ale before swinging at the zombie again...
