Goodness y'all are a suspicious lot.

As Lianna gently places her dagger tip against the back of the goblins neck the creature stiffens slightly and begins blubbering about going home and a mean man with gold.

Rykkens examination of the mirrors reveals them to appear normal. There is even a reflection of the pepple he tosses into the hall.

((For a minute I thought you said "people" instead of "pepple" Jan. Man that was a hilarious mental image. Ryyken just hauling back and throwing random folks down the hallway, with the absolute most serious "I'm a wizard face". ))

Lianna says to goblin in a very calm voice, you are going to stand up and put your hands on your head then we are both going to turn around and calmly walk back to the room behind us. Do exactly as I say and you and me both will be going home. Understood?

Lianna will guide the goblin back to the pillar room by keeping the dagger poking into his neck. Lianna doesn't want to hurt him because a dead goblin is a goblin of no use.

There will be limited NPC tossing please.

Lianna leads the now terrified goblin back into the pillar room. As they walk down the stairs there is a faint glimmer that surrounds tgd goblin and the disappears.

As soon as the goblin disappears Lianna will stand dumbfounded for a moment before hurrying back into the pillar room.

You were right Oypeen, some sort of magic is at work here.

"I'm just saying, don't touch that coin on the floor. BTW, when you went 40' down the passage could you see any futher down? And do you think that coin on the floor by the goblin is as illusionary as the goblin?"

((Jan what could Lianna see up the passage. I failed to ask, my mistake.))

Lianna shakes her head.

I think that "coin" is part of some sort of illusion based trap. I tried to keep my eyes off of it, lest I fall bewitched to some enchantment.

Sturm is just leaning against one of the pillars, curious as to what everyone is doing, but not feeling the need to help out. He figures there are smarter ones in the group than him.. He is just ready if something goes south..

His eyes do raise momentarily at the disappearing goblin..

(To Lianna- the passage ran straight for as far as you could see.)

(Is that a side passage down that southern hall paralleling the southern hall? kind of similar to the parrallel passage to the west of the mirror hall.)

Oypeen growing more curious about this room wants to search for secret doors and/or compartments, beginning in the northwest quadrant. But first he wants to know if he can actually leave this room so he will go up the stairs and into the north passage where the sharn portal was, then come back down into the room and start searching.

Rykken lets out a low whistle as the goblin disappears. "Quander, why don't you throw some food down that south corridor and see if the rat disappears when it goes after it."
