As soon as I am able I will begin hogtieing the shaman with particular attention to his hands. And will gag him as well.

(You'll have to let go of him and get into your pack for the rope unless you carry it somewhere else. This will give him a chance to try and break free of Hermia.)

Once Rykken dispatches the sleeping bugbears he will grab the rope from his pack and help Oypeen and Hermia tie up the shaman.

Rykken drops his pack after dispatching the sleeping enemy and quickly pulls a length of silken rope from within. A few short turns, a tug and a cuss or two (with help from Hermia and Opyeen) and the Bugbear caster is bound {I'm going to guess you went with feet and hands bound together and tethered to each other?} and immobile. With a quick cut of some of the creatures robe a fast gag is made so that no his cussing and howling is reduced to muffled mumbles and some rather hostile looks from one to the other with an occasional glance from the glowing armor to the meat on the fire, then a longing glance at the keg of beer and back to his captors. He appears resigned to his fate and at the same time willing to continue the fight if he could just get loose. He continues to twist and turn his wrists trying to find some slack in the bindings.

Rykken will leave the shaman to the others and return his attention to the armor and longsword. He will visually inspect it closely looking for any signs of tampering or traps.

As Sturm steps back and watches the others try to hogtie the Bugbear shaman he can't help but wonder.. Why tackle a bugbear to capture it when there were two perfectly good sleeping bugbears right next to it? He shrugs and reaches down to pull the necklace off the squirming bugbears neck.

((because he was about to wake them up. It would suck to just run up and stop (because you can't attack that round) and watch him wake one up right in front of you. Not to mention he will know more than a couple grunts will. He may not tell us anything but its worth a try. Thats the thing about the sleep spell. If you don't get em all you better either start killing them while they're prone or take out the ones that are awake, because the smart move for the awake ones is to immediately start waking up the sleepers.))

Rykken wanders over to take a look at the armor and longsword hanging in the rack while Sturm reaches to the Bugbears hairy neck and with a deft movement pulls a 3' long wrist thick golden necklace free. Hanging from the necklace is a crudely carved symbol. Upon closer inspection it looks like an effigy of a human face, contorted in rage and cowled with a torn hood.

(To Rykken: The armor is spotless. No rust, dust, dirt, dents or anything to indicate it's ever seen combat or even been worn. It's perfect. The sword has very tiny runes, probably only noticeable since you are a practitioner of magic, etched all around the hilt. It seems to be a story, perhaps a blessing or curse for the wielder written in an ancient language of magic. Your eyes can detect no magical traps.)

(To Sturm: The gold is heavy and solid. So pure it will dent slightly if you squeeze it hard enough. Your dwarven knowledge of precious metals tells you it's damn close to 100% gold. It consists of hundreds of hair sized strands woven together. It's not very strong, you could probably pull it apart with some effort. That in itself is enough to tell you that it is recently made.)

Once the shaman is snugly tied, oypeen will check the two brutes and their weapons for anything of interest and look around the room to see what, if anything, he may have missed in the mad rush into the room.
