Character creation

Post up what you'll be playing. Guidelines below.
1) Core BFRPG rules only to start (so I don't get bogged down with supplemental rules)
2) We'll use the Quick Character Generator for stats (I'll roll on the dice roller and PM each persons line number to them).
3) Equipment-You can each roll for starting gold and then multiply that number by your level and purchase your equipment from that (no magic items).
4) Level- You'll each start with 8,000 experience points in what ever class you chose.
5) Magic Users and Clerics get additional 1st level spell slots equal to their requisite ability bonus.
6) You will each receive one magical item. I'll roll once for each of you in the random treasure tables in the core rules and PM you what you've gotten. If it works out that you can use it (i.e. the Fighter gets a +1 Long Sword) then all the better. If not you can sell it or trade it or whatever you want. This is to reflect your most recent adventure and the loot you found while there.
7) Back stories are optional but would add spice to the game.
8) I'd like you to be a known party of adventurers that have gone out "a slaying" in the past. You could be "The Party of the _______" or something like that. This will save game time lost in finding out who is who.
9) (house rule) Max hit points for first level.
10) (house rule) Magic Users have Read Magic as an ingrained ability like Clerics have Turn Undead.
11) (house rule) At 5th level and every 5 levels there after (i.e. 10th, 15th, 20th) a character may add 1 point to any chosen statistic (str, dex, con, etc..). No statistic may be higher than 18. This is to represent the growth of the characters physical and mental prowess as levels of experience increase.
I'll get a character sheet template together and post it today.
