This is what the rules state on charging: "Finally, the attacker must be using a weapon such as a spear, lance, or pole arm which is suitable for use while charging."
As for the Rings I guess we had a guy sold our party a crap ton of armor which we resold for a pretty penny. This gave us enough gold to buy everything on the Durnan's magic item list with the exception of these items:
potion of dragon control
Dwarven Thrower (hammer)
Girdle of Giant Strength
So there were a couple of Rings of Protection in the list including a +4 Ring that was still up for grabs. I thought you could use it more but with a base AC of 19 yours is actually higher than mine by 1. So if I took the +4 Ring I would have an AC of 22 and if you took the +2 you would have an AC of 21. The Other way Around puts me at an AC:20 and you with an AC: 23.
Good catch.
Ah. All yours, then.

Party Languages:
Common
Elven
Dwarven
Halfling
plus 3 more from intelligence bonuses.
If we capture this bugbear I think they speak Goblin. If Jandalar agrees with that then I think I will take goblin as my 3rd language so we can question it.

Bugbears do indeed speak a form of Goblin. It's a bit more refined and more polished so you could take Goblin and easily understand this one.

Hmmm. Not sure if I covered this before.
XP. I'm a fan of XP rewards as you go. I know some folks like to award it at the end of an adventure or at a "stopping point" but I never did like that. I'll award XP as you go along if it's ok with you all. I'd rather you gain knowledge of your craft (XP) as you go and as you get better at things. Going for a few weeks in a dungeon at the same level of knowledge and then when you get out suddenly "leveling up" is just silly. It's like a prize fighter working his butt off for months and then not actually getting better at fighting until after his match. You get better as you go as far as I'm concerned.
I've PMd some of you XP for things you've done outside of the party and will continue to do so. I will however note your XP gains in the (To Name:) areas under the descriptions when it's warranted. Update your character sheets as time allows. You can announce that you've leveled up or not, I'll check your sheets and update the information I need on my DM's sheet. Yes this may result in some of you leveling faster than others but that's the way of things. Some folks work harder/smarter and advance faster.
Any objections can be posted here and I'll gladly change my methods if any of you feel they are unfair. I will NOT base the XP gained on how often you do or do not post up. Only on your actions in-game.
Thoughts?

That sounds fair to me.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Looks like we've got somebody interested in playing with us but how he wants to play may be a challenge? He wants to be a healer, but not really a cleric though. I wonder if we could just call the cleric spells something else but keep everything else the same? I dunno sounds fun..

Alright sorry for the late reply LL, but do you still want to swap items? I'm all for it if you are. When we meet in game the transaction can go down.
