Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive

Boldol will move up to check the north door. If it looks like we're planning on resting here or interrogating the war chief, he'll move to reinforce it with any barrels or boards he can find nearby.

Alena grins and crushes the goblin.

[Blazeguard]

The cook's pleas fall on deaf ears as Alena stalks forward, raises her mace and brings it down with a bone-jarring thud, leaving the goblin lying in a contorted heap.

OOC: Did you want to interrogate the chief? If you do, post some questions or just a general idea of what information you're looking for and I will expand on that next post. If you just want to continue, let me know as well and I will run with that.

Pebbles wants to know if he thinks this is the warchief who was terrorizing the village or just a common warchief. If its the honcho we want then interrogate, if he isn't then I don't care if we interrogate him before we kill him or just kill him. At any rate, Pebbles thinks this would be a great place to rest for the night - food is cooking.

If it's not the same one then we can ask him about that one.

Boldol will continue on with barricading the doors.

Pebbles face scrunches up and he looks like he is about to take a massive dump. It stays this way for a moment then suddenly he opens his eyes and says, "Ah, I remember now. It took a bit of thinking but I recall that we are looking for a viscous gnoll warrior named Gritznak the Bold. This fellow is is a gnoll and he's a warchief. So lets ask him a few questions in exchange for a quick death. Otherwise, after we take the meat off the spits we'll just stick him on one and let him roast until he can answer some questions."

Pebbles looks around the room for places where treasure might be stored and says to the others, "If this is Gritznak, we haven't found the fruits of his ill deeds yet. If he doesn't tell us where to find it, we should search every room carefully for secret doors and hidden compartments."

[Blazeguard]

Boldol sets to barricading the north door as Pebbles begins interrogating their prisoner.

"What is your name? Are you Gritznak?" he demands.
The chief sneers at you, "Me, Gritznak?! Hahaha! No! Me Thurrg Thunderdance. Gritznak eat you for breakfast. He no fall to your petty magick tricks." He pauses, "Treasure? Sure, lots treasure down here. Just go thru door", he says with an evil leer, gesturing at the door in the north wall.

Additional questioning fails to reveal any other information of value and Pebbles quickly tires of the game and ends the gnolls life by slitting his throat.

After getting what information you can from Thurrg, the party dines on roast pig and settles down to rest.

OOC: What is the watch order?
