Pebbles sets about searching the small room, paying special attention to the northeast section. After 20 minutes his persistence pays off as he encounters a loose brick in the east wall at the north end. Adjusting the brick slightly he is rewarded with a low grinding noise as a door opens towards the east. Luckily, his finely tuned senses also detect the almost imperceptible click of a needle and he pulls his hand back just in time to avoid the trap. The secret door opens into a 50' hallway with an alcove off to the north.

Mumford peers into the room Pebbles is in, his curiosity triggered by the sound of the opening door.

As you cautiously step through the doorway and peek into the alcove it is immediately apparent that the current occupants have somehow missed this room. Just a quick glance reveals shelves of books, items, scrolls, and piles of coins littering the room. As a group you set about searching the alcove and uncover the following:
946 sp
1935 ep
3079 gp
854 pp
1 Anklet
2 Necklaces
4 Vials of Holy Water
3 Potions of Cure Light Wounds
1 Ring of Protection +2
1 Scroll of Protection from Evil
1 Scroll of Magic Mouth
1 Wand of Paralyzation

What a find! Good job Pebbles !

If that is what I think it is, it could be quite useful, says Sanzaru taking one of the vials of holy water, if we encounter any undead or other such things, he adds.
"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants."

"Fine searching!"

Boldol will pocket one of the potions and pat Pebbles on the back.

The party spends a few minutes dividing up the loot and then ponders their next move. As they discuss their options, Bosco begins whining and pawing at the western end of the hallway.

Pebbles uses the previous door as a guide and quickly locates a corresponding latch on the western wall which opens onto another North/South corridor. It extends north 20' to a dead-end and south 50' to a four-way intersection. There is a door directly across the corridor.
