Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
While Mumford rummages for a treat for Bosco, Pebbles quietly slips across the corridor and listens at the door. He listens intently for several minutes but doesn't hear a sound.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
"What do you think is in there. Should we open it?" Whispers Sanzaru sidling up behind pebbles.
"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants."
Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Pebbles checks to see if the door is locked. If it is he will check for traps then attempt to pick it. If not, he will step back and let the door knockers have some fun.

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Checking the door Pebbles finds it unlocked and trap-free.
"Have at'er boys" he says as he steps aside and motions towards the door.
Sanzaru carefully opens the door and peeks inside. You see another storage room/closet identical to the last couple of rooms you've found. A 30' x 10' room with a 10' entry. Unfortunately, this room appears to have been ransacked already like most of the others and you only find 10 cp among the debris.

Boldol will move over to peek around the corners at the hallway intersection that hasn't been explored yet.

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Boldol takes point and heads south towards the intersection with Pebbles and the rest of the party in tow.
As you near the intersection, Sanzaru suddenly stops and shivers, "I feel an evil presence emanating from up ahead." As you slowly continue southwards toward the intersection the foreboding sensation increases and it appears to be originating from somewhere to the southwest.
As you approach the intersection you see a broad archway to the west leading into a 20' x 30' room. There are gold-gilded letters engraved on the arch lintel. Alena recognizes it as an intonation written in the ancient tongue of the Horned One - "In one is all". The corridor continues south past the intersection for another 40' before ending at a large, wooden door.
Just as you reach the intersection you hear a noise from the corridor to the east. You turn and see 8 goblins advancing towards you.
Round 1
Pebbles Initiative: [1d6+4] = 6+4 = 10
Boldol Initiative: [1d6+4] = 2+4 = 6
Sanzaru Initiative: [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5
Goblins Initiative: [1d6] = 4
Mumford Initiative: [1d6-1] = 3-1 = 2
Alena Initiative: [1d6] = 2

Mumford bravely casts Shield on himself.
Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Boldol readies his shield and hurls a sling bullet at the nearest goblin.
