I am sooo buying a warping once I can afford it. It's not just to be in character. It's also to show up in time to be in the fights!

Exactly! A warping is what every slow-moving paladin needs to ensure that he knows where the evil-doers are. How to acquire one is pretty easy too. First you start with a slow-moving paladin, then make him a dwarf. Realizing that the only way an iron-clad dwarf can keep up with elves is by adding more legs to the equation -- and because it's "in character" for a paladin -- you then need to acquire (buy) a faithful steed. Of course, not any faithful steed will do for such a stout champion of dwarven goodness. You needs a stout equine to send terror into the hearts of his enemies. Plus, it hopefully moves faster than 10'/round.
Now, how to convert a battle equine into a warping. Spend a lot of time in Apple Lane, and you'll see that nobody likes apples. Among its other sinful characteristics, this fruit will notoriously will corrupt "warpony" to warping when transmitted using fat fingers and a tiny keyboard.
(lol)
It'd be really cool to warp into combat, but I don't think Blazeguard has that in his house rules.

Been really busy the last couple of days but I will get an update up tomorrow.
Pebbles will be scouting the town trying to track down the spy. If any of the others want to do anything while he is doing that you can post and then I will combine that all into my next post.

I apologize for my last post. I realize in hindsight that it was extremely rail-roady and I really stifled your options.
This is all new to me and I'm finding it a lot harder than I thought it would be. I hope you'll bear with me as I stumble along.
Also, if you have any critiques, tips, or advice please let me know either here or via pm. (I need all the help I can get)

Since this is play by post I had no problem with your post. Now if it was live action I would want to break it up into more back and forth between me and the DM, but PBP can take a long time to do that. In the meantime everyone else has to wait for days to pass to do anything. Of course, if after reading your post of my night actions, I thought that I would have done something different then I would have told you that I would do something different and we could take over from that point. But you pretty much did everything I planned to do, ask questions around the tavern, find the shack, stake it out, and then follow the man when he came out. The only thing that would have been different is I probably would have staked out Ian first, but since that part worked out for me I didn't complain

.

We need to figure out what we're going to do about ol' Gwion there. I think some forced miss information would work out well but I've got no idea what to tell him to say. If we could swing it so that we can kill/maim/injure/humiliate most of his party then so much the better for the town.
I'm open to ideas.

I'm just waiting for our other party members to chime in. But I did make a suggestion in the game thread ...
"I suggest that maybe we can leak some wrong information to the spy and set up a trap. perhaps that one or two of our scouts will head for the river crossing and look for sign or maybe set up a stakeout point and watch for bad guys crossing. Instead the whole party plus maybe a townsman or two will go out instead and set up an ambush."
