Hey folks I'm going to be out of pocket for a while. Got notification on Friday that I have to report at 0800 in San Antonio on Monday the 18th. So the wife and I have just a very short few days to get our house packed up and moved almost 1700 miles. I'll try to get on and update what ol' Targus is doing but I can't guarantee anything.

Sorry. :(

Moving Forward ...

Post by JoeCarr28 »

Many thanks for bearing with me during the playtest. Hope the system made some kind of sense by the end of it.

I'm going to update the Basic Fantasy Questing supplement now based on the comments received and issues the highlighted in the playtest - this shouldn't take too long. If you have any final comments, questions, suggestions, criticisms, etc., please do post them in the "Feedback and Questions" topic so that I can address them in the new version.

Please can you also PM with the name you'd like me to use for your playtesting credit (e.g. your real name, your forum name, or anything else).

I'm happy to run a second short playtest scenario (something more conventional and cooperative) if anyone is interested. Equally, I'll understand if you've had enough, so please don't feel obliged :) - just let me know what you're preference is.

I also tweaked Elena's stats a bit (lowered wisdom, raised charisma). She needs to be a tad more personable, so I'm going with cluelessly personable. Think "legally blonde" now. She still doesn't understand bar tabs, she still doesn't understand human traditions, but she smiles more as she's acting weird.

Don't worry, I've factored that into the next adventure. There will be an opportunity and budget for buying gear once the challenge that you'll face becomes clearer.

Ready as well.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
