I don't do much here, but this art forum was a brilliant idea lol. There are some very nice pieces getting produced and exhibited.

I listed the caveman on the Art Request, I didn't find any thread saying that somebody will gonna do it, Shonnuf said he was doing the elementals. Don't worry, I'll upload and anybody can use it for another document

Sorry D, i didn't even see the caveman thing. that was my mistake.

You can send yours, and they can use yours. i was merely blue pencil messing around and cranked out a caveman.

seriously. go for it.

i think we should sticky something in the art request...
or i'll make a new one..

Nothing wrong with multiple representations of the same thing. A place can be found for each. For instance, the caveman appears in the Monsters as Races Supplement. There are likely a lot places where such duplicates of material can still appear.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Shonuff, I have another suggestion. I don't know if this board engine supports giving moderator status just for a forum or subforum. If it does then give the artist who are working on requests moderator status for this forum. Then make the art request thread only for art requests and no chit chat. If someone posts anything other than an art request you can move that post to art general chat (eventually we will get the idea and stop posting in it). Then when an artist decides to work on one of the request they can edit that post to say they are working on it. That way its easy to see what has been requested and if anyone is working on it without it getting lost in the general chat.

yeah not a bad idea. i gueess i can also just keep an eye (daily) on the forum and go in and edit it myself for the artists. (i figure the art director has to do some work lol.)

I check the forum hourly anyhow..i'll just jump on that now.

but i agree with Smoot from the other thread.
"claiming" or calling out 'dibs' might stifle other artists from producing another piece of work for solo or Smoot that could be used in another publication.

I'll go into the requests and put a red name next to who is doing what, but it should be stated anything can be drawn and offered to Smoot or Solo or ANYONE requesting art, so that people have the chance to use the artwork offered.
