I think he's unique and great!

Assuming it can open its mouth wide enough, the tooth-horns shouldn't be an issue. I'd imagine it'd have quite the speech impediment, though!
If the staples were armor, then this guy would be like a shrimp deveiner.

Thank you for the feedback.

I could see this dragon using the point coming up from the lower jaw as a sight for aiming its breath attack. Then use the two coming from the upper jaw for stabbing into the pray item, like a sabre-tooth cat was supposedly able to do (I know that paleontologist don't think sabre-tooth cats used the sabres to kill food, anymore). I like it.

I like that idea. It does look like a cross between a saber-tooth cat, a rhino, and dragon. I'll keep working on it.

I wanted to share these sketches of the Ghostcap Bloom. As I was trying to figure it out, I tried to stay as close to the description as possible. The flower pedal has what looks like a face. The spiral section at the base grabs and holds the victims. The base of the plant has openings for the pollination process to attract the undead. I tried to make this thing nasty and beautiful at the same time. I pictured that maybe a cleric could see a way of making a potion from it to turn the undead or control them through the pollen. I could also see that getting this stuff on you could also attract the undead, so fumbling around with it may not be a good idea. I'm not sure if other artists work this way but I did want to share my process.

So, basically, the anatomy of the ghost bloom.

That could be used as an illustration from a book.

That would be a really cool approach to a monster plant illustration. I don't think I've seen that done before.

Goblin rough sketches. Some artists draw the classic goblin, while others take some liberties and make them their own. I kinda feel sorry for these poor guys. I've drawn several types but I like the short nose goblins. Let me know what you think.

I like them, especially the mean ones showing sharp little teeth.
It's cool to see some variety. The earliest illustrations of goblins based on folklore were all over the map. Check out Rackham's Goblin Market.

Those goblins in the lower left are really creepy! Love to peek in your sketchbook. Thumbnails are invaluable: I do much better work after preliminary sketches.
