I did a quick drawing the other day. I tried to channel the old school feel. Nothing like a classic scene: two adventurers unknowingly unleash the guardian demon that protects the treasure.

Agreeing with the others, great action scene!
That could be one of the art pieces in the DMG. Also could be an interesting caption contest pic.

Here's another illustration I did. I was experimenting with charcoal pencils and and watercolor wash.
I think the illustration is generic enough that it can hopefully find a home somewhere.
