Merchant's cart; Merchant carts are sealed with tar and can float if required, though you'd need a pole or the like to provide steering. They have a tented interior to keep out rain and a tiled roof for the same; the interior is 7'Lx5'W, allowing a average human to stretch out, if somewhat cramped with personable's stored inside. There's a trailer hitch mechanism in front to yoke to a horse (not shown); there is also a metal kick-stand foot at the front to keep fairly level when the animal is detached. Metal lined chests with padlock latches can be secured with a metal rod through the hull running along the sides (though the chests are by no means un-openable to a persistent thug who has time to beat on them). A series of hooks lines the outer lip for hanging pots, pans and sacks/baggage...often the clanking sound of pots and pans precedes an over-loaded Merchant's cart (and is like ringing the dinner bell to bandits in the wild lands). Durability/Hardness/Price as you see fit.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Not sure I like the chicken-sharks (jesting, I know that isn't what you were going for here), but the rest of the stuff is awesome. I like the sacrifice image; always like images that have "something going on", over stuff that is just 'portraits'.
