Hamish, being on guard downstairs (where the food is), is blissfully ignorant of your problems upstairs. Unless someone wants his opinion, and comes to get it...

Galen has a similar situation being partially down the stairwell. Assuming the volume of the discussion is in whispered tones befitting slinking around, Galen likely is unaware... not that he can likely help much due to his noodle arms meant more for playing music (STR 08).

Loud banging noises can be heard from upstairs.
As the elven wizard pounds violently on the chest, you see some boards begin to splinter, but the bands and bolts refuse to buckle from Saeloria's tender mercies. Muddle and Selene get the clear impression that you do not want to upset the wizard when she has a large blunt object on hand.
