Hamish does the same.

The cook shrugs and opens the door. This room is relatively clean. The window is open.

The next room is a similar affair, though a bit less offal. Some sort of runic lettering is carved into the wall over one of the bedrolls.

Selene enters the room and pokes around. Similar to Galen she will head to the next room if she finds nothing interesting.

Saeloria wrinkles her nose in disgust at the smell and condition of the first room. "I can't believe people put up with such squalor", she mutters under her breath. She stays in the hallway, clearly revolted by the thought of even touching anything in the rooms.

Okay, back into the swing of things.
In short, the unlocked rooms are pretty much foul sleeping quarters. Whatever of value these men have, they must keep on them.

From what you've seen so far, Muddle's impression is that they were not well favored by Fromme.

All that remains is the locked door.

Hamish shrugs, and says, "Can someone pick it, or should I just break it down?"

(ooc: sorry, its been so long that I had to check my Character sheet to verify that muddle is a thief.)

Muddle moves through the group to the door, checks it for traps and if none or found and removed, will attempt to pick the lock.

Selene observes Muddle. She'll also try to pick the lock, if necessary.

Galen will begin playing his lockpicking measures (bard song - +5%/rank = +5%) to help augment his friends' skills. Otherwise, between such attempts Galen will simply keep his keen ears open for any trouble brewing.

Muddle hears the tune and feels much better about his own skills. His hearing zeroes in on the different sounds emanating from his pics and his fingers sensitivity to the rise and fall of the pins increases.
