Muddle lines puts an arrow deep into the bear's shoulder, prompting an angry roar as it charges forward (6 damage!).

Bears: 4
The wounded bear, angry, charges toward the large thing in the center of the swarm of arrows - Hamish. Set for the charge, the bear runs itself into Hamish's spear, and knocks him back as it collapses to the stone floor (totaled to 15 damage).

The second bear swats at Hamish. Caught off balance from the first beast, he catches a glancing blow (2 damage).

Bill and Oleg: Not wanting to risk hitting the man that impaled a bear, and not being crazy enough to try to take one on in melee, the two ex-bandits opt to wait, prepared to shoot the bear if it moves away from Hamish.

Saeloria: 2

Current status:
Hamish 16/18 hp

OOC: Is the first bear dead?

Saeloria releases a Magic Missile spell, targeting the bear that just swiped at Hamish.

Galen will fire again at anything bear-ish that is still coming at us.

Selene lowers her bow and switches to her shortsword.

A bolt of arcane power flies from Saeloria's fingers, and strikes the second bear. Hard. (7 damage)

I'm going to let you try to slip around while it's focused on Hamish, using the worst of hide and move silent... so hide.
The bear pays you no attention, giving you a chance to go for the liver (10 damage!).
