Saunatonttu was designing a floating iceberg with vikings and some frost giants and stuff back in 2008. Never heard what he did with it.

Actually, I think this is the thread that I was thinking of originally. I think the only thing I will emulate is the rough idea of an Iceberg Fortress for Frost Giants. Thanks for finding it though! Good inspiration.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Thread Necromancy!!!

My favorite modules are X4, X5 and maybe X10. I would love to see a BF spin on these 3.

I really dug "the sinister secret Saltmarsh", "temple of elemental evil" and "secret of bone hill". That being said I'd love to an underworld adventure with a few different factions, with a nod to the original drow series. Although dark elves don't need to be the bad guys this time around.

I6 Ravenloft

The whole concept of a Barony in its own pocket universe ruled by a Dracula wannabee is awesome. Also the castle was impressive.

Funny you mention this one .. i just ordered this as POD from DriveThru. They really need to get all the TSR stuff as POD. It's taking them way too long to work through their library.

I1 Dwellers of the Forbidden City

It's by Cook. It introduced the Yuan-ti.
And there is some city intrigues which Basic Fantasy RPG could use more of.
Full of inspirations, even though the delivery is far from perfect.
