Tenkars Tavern- Vote for BFRPG

Erik over at Tenkars Tavern has a poll up to see which OSR'ish game he'll run using Google+ hangouts in the month of October and one of them is BFRPG. So I thought I would get you guys involved in tipping the vote in our favor. If you've never read his blog, the guy is pretty awesome and sticks strictly to old school and old school inspired RPGs.

Well seeing as almost all clones are just that, clones, their really isn't that much choice even considering the long list is their?


I voted BF, at least the math is different.

Most of those games do try something different, deviating in little ways. Even the closest emulation games, like OSRIC, LL and S&W still deviate in their own special ways.

I voted also of course but we are at only 40 votes while OSRIC and L&L are at 88 votes so unless we can get all the members here to go vote, it is not going to happen for BFRPG.

Well chin up guys, we did good at 40 votes! I mean BF is rarely even mentioned by the OSR (their mistake) and we still managed to outdo most of the contenders.

LL will always beat out BFRPG for two reasons. It is B/X without adding these newfangled ideas and because it was started as a commercial venture and thus advertised very hard early on.

BFRPG has always been "here it is, play it if you want to."
