Bashing games never made sense to me. No one is forcing you to play it, or even read about it. So why nag at others who enjoy it? I may not like 4th edition but I am not going to go trumpeting around the internet about that fact. If someone is having fun playing it, then good for them. I am having fun playing my game over here.

Also each game brings something new to the whole. I may not like 4th edition, but I did like some of the ideas behind the game. I like the idea of having a Second Wind for example. For those parties that may not have a Cleric. Same way I took the idea of spontaneous swapping of spells for Cure Light Wounds from 3rd edition. Rejecting the whole means you miss out on the parts that are actually good, even if you never use the entire system.

Since this thread has gone off topic a bit... I was poking around 4chan's tabletop games board, as I am want to do at times, and saw a D&D5e complaining thread. They complain about everything, even favors from super models would be complained about...

Anyway, I saw this post and I busted up laughing, because it is kind of true.
