New Setting Looking for Ideas
Hey guys I am currently putting together a new setting for fun. I currently have the bones of setting created but am missing a lot of fluff and such. If you have any sort of random ideas you can't find a use for, or maybe just want to share some campaign ideas I would be quite happy to hear them.

Okay, here's something I've been toying with: A coin shaped world.
Like a flat world, except that the underside is also inhabited. The edges of the world are bound by mountains giving ways to cliffs, rivers as endless waterfalls...
And the underside is freaky.

Disc-world sounds cool. What would your underside realm be like? Gravity back towards the disk center, or down to nothingness. Everything living down there flys and/or lives clinging to the 'ceiling'?!
I kinda like the idea that mountains on the bottom side are like stalactites hanging down.

Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Re: New Setting Looking for Ideas
I have two versions. The earlier (10 years ago) version had gravity towards the midline, like a giant spelljammer. This model takes the "Sun as chariot model" rather literally, with the sun god travelling across the "underworld" in a barge, giving little more than a feeble red light on the horizon as he recuperates for the next day topside. The world would be dark, with more fungus-based life, glowy lichens... basically your standard underdark, only with an open sky on top. (At the time I thought the idea of entire civilizations (plural) living in undeground caverns a bit implausible. Yeah, a fat disk of a world lit by a physical god is far more plausible.
Newer version has gravity as a constant downward pull into... something. So digging too deep does open up to endless depths. I've been playing with elements of late, and imagined a this floating between positive and negative planes - topside with a radiant sun, underside facing a draining abyss (treating gravity as a negative energy trait)

One of my RPG's setting is Terraplana (flatland) not only the world is flat and circular-like, but instead of a sun, moon, etc, you can see the gods himself doing what they do.
Those kind of worlds really change the way a player see and interact with the game.
