bryce0lynch, I'll give you a blog account on the strength of that one single post if you ask. Just one thing... don't say "Self Published" for modules produced by the Basic Fantasy Project.

I would add that this should be left out too.
[Fuck you and your blind nostalgia worship; most of that old shit is crap!]
There is never a need to trash what others like just because its not something you like. I respect that is his opinion of TSR modules but expressing that opinion added nothing of value to the review. In fact, expressing that sentiment may negatively color everything written after it for many readers who may disagree with that statement. Its just an unnecessary poke in the eye.

Oh fame, how thy sweet nectar continues to elude me!

Thank you for your generous offer, however I must decline. I do my reviews on my site, tenfootpole.org, and archive them on rpgggek.com. I try to cross-post to appropriate forums when I can remember, and thought it seemed more appropriate this time since this still seems to be a draft candidate. I try hard to keep some distance so my reviews may be impartial ... or, at least, partial to my own, well disclosed, tastes. ;)

I picked up the self-published bit from the rpggeek.com database, where most of the BFRPG items are listed that way. If I remember to do so I will update their site.

Good News! I'm going on vacation for a month to hike the Appalachian trail! ...errr... a month long portion anyway. That means that my blog will feature Hill Giant Hall on its front page for an unusually long period of time.

... and as for uncalled for comments ... I believe there are many places on the OSR Internet you can go if you want nice softball review and pat on the back. Or, I mean, you defend blind nostalgia worship ... ;)

Good luck with your BFRPG product. I wish you all the best!

I was not bothered by the comment about the section I quoted. I have always taken the opinion that what other people like or don't like has no affect on what I should like. I just didn't see the point of poking people in the eye for no reason. I know that you wrote it for your own blog, but then you posted it on a site mostly populated by the very people who would take offense to that comment. It just seemed unnecessary. Even still, my comment wasn't that your comment should be removed in the thread or on your own site, just that if it were going to go on the BFRPG blogsite as a guest blogger that part should be removed. Since you don't want it there, my comment is no longer applicable.

What part of the AT are you hiking. I hiked from Springer to West Virginia back in 2010 before I had to get off the trail for overspending my funds, problems at home, overbearing heat, etc ...
