I just wanted to let you all know I am running this game system over at Role Playing Games Network, calling it a "play test" because it's not been used there before, and I'm hoping to infect a few of the players there with this awesome system. Anybody who wants to lurk the threads and see how it goes is quite welcome, and I welcome comments as well. Im starting them out in the old fashioned T1: The Village of Hommlet module but completely changing the backstory and taking the Temple out of it in favor of a necromancer story line. The players don't know it yet, but I'm going to use the d20 re write of the old Judges Guild Wildlands campaign world, which includes the iconic City State of the Invincible Overlord. I think it's going to be fun, and I hope the players enjoy it. In fact, I am thinking about splitting up in to two games eventually (I have 9 players, so....) and would welcome anybody interested in joining.

Always nice to hear about new games running with BFRPG! :D

If you need an alternate place to run the game, we can setup a corner here for you. At the very least, feel free to post updates here so we can all share in how your game is going.

well thanks for the welcome, and Ithink I will keep up a "blog" of sorts here. part of my game includes an OOC thread for rule specific questions and answers, which some of you might find interesting. No one but me has played BF before in my group, and I have only used it with my kids so....yeah, it'll be interesting to see how a bunch of 40 somethings like me take to it.

So far, I am happy with the role playing the guys have come up with, but I know most of them from other games I am in on that site, so I expected it. Tonight, I have posted the first three ingame threads, so the campaign is under way. It will be fun to see how this turns out.
