Fight!
Apologies. What is the distance between 1st and 3rd edition? I see that 1st edition is still available, leaving me with the notion it may have been something very special or unique to have survived the test of time, as it were. Is it, in fact, worth picking up?
Thank you, and have a lovely day.

Re: 1st Edition vs. 3rd Edition
1st Edition is available just because a handful of collectors wanted it.
It's not very different. Our "editions" mean a lot less than their "editions" do. You can show up at my table, currently using 3rd Edition, with a 1st Edition book and do just fine.

Then I will have to check it out, while there is still time! Thank you.

All each edition does (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong) is clean up some filler, and clarify rules otherwise confusing for some players (I'm a new player who tried it with 3e, and will try 4e once it releases).
