Hey, friends!
So I'm coming to BF from playing lots of DnD 5e and Ironsworn, and BF looks like a load of fun. But I'm a solo only player. I've noticed that this game seems very reliant on multiple heroes, so for solo players, how does one scale the game?
I don't imagine I will delve into dungeons often, we will see where the story goes, but when it does happen, any thoughts/recommendations on how to scale the game or things to consider at lower player counts?
Thanks!

Re: Solo Players?
First off welcome. Secondly there are two solo modules I think that are great starting points but I do agree that with BF unless you alter the rules alittle, you will be needed a few hirelings for dungeon delving.
I myself use Black Streams Solo Heroes (Based off Scarlet Heroes) as a rules overlay for playing solo. It helps minimize some of the lethality and gives you rules options to balance combat. It is free on drivethrurpg as well.

Re: Solo Players?
Welcome to BFRPG!!!! This is an awesome place to be a solo player.
Have you considered just rolling up 4 characters and running a whole party? It's easy enough to do with a game like BFRPG since the character stats are pretty basic. That way when someone dies the story continue on with the survivors. You can have near party wipe-outs (which happens often for me lol) and continue the saga as long as that wizard in the back runs for his life while the rest are being chased down and eaten alive.
Those recommended pamphlet adventures are amazing, compact little works of art. I love them so much. I played through them solo and recorded it on my youtube channel here if you are interested in seeing how I run a party of PCs (and yes there are deaths along the way):
